The International Space Science School (ISSS) take place after each COLAGE. The aim of the school is promoting knowledge and training for undergraduate, master’s and doctoral candidates, from all over the world, in the area of Space Sciences, covering topics such as the Sun and the Solar Activity, Interplanetary Medium and the Solar Wind, Magnetosphere, Ionosphere, Upper Atmosphere, Planetary Sciences and Space Weather.
Awards
Mario Acuña
The Mario H. Acuña Prize is awarded to a distinguished scientist, employed by an education and/or research institution in Latin America, whose work has been outstanding to create scientific infrastructure for research in Space Science (terrestrial or on board of spacecrafts) in one or more countries of the region.
Roberto Manzano
This award is granted to the best contribution presented in COLAGE that has a student as the first author. One award will be given per each of the COLAGE sessions.
Ruth Gall
This award is be given to a distinguished researcher who has collaborated
significantly with more than one scientific group from Latin American Institutions
despite the fact that he/she was not affiliated to any Latin American Institution.
